It was centered between San Jose and Fremont, according to the map at
the USGS site. Life in Mountain View appears normal. Cellphone (AT&T)
and phone service and cable service seem ok.

Not sure of the extent of any Internet-related outages, but my cellphone
service is out in San Jose (AT&T) and there are also reports of landline
outages.
