The Register is reporting that Time Warner, Level3, etc. were (are?) the victims of "a bug in Juniper routers that corrupted BGP...tables."

"There were widespread Internet outages and slowdowns on Monday after backbone provider Level3 Communications had a major outage, affecting some downstream providers and enterprises. The company has not put out a statement regarding the incident, but it does not appear right now as if there was an attack involved."
