[outages] Level3/TW Telecom issues?

I really don't understand the logic of whoever wrote that status update.
How does that update has any value at all its so vague and lacks any
information

"uh yeah we can confirm many hours later that there was a issue in an area
that is unknown or too important to tell you anything specific, we applied
a change that fixed said unknown problem and we will continue to monitor it
even though it took many hours for us to react the first time around"

i know you cant always be too specific but its really disappointing to see
this kind of communication become somewhat the norm to customers who are
paying that extra premium for an SLA.
Problems happen but customers are a lot more understanding when theres good
communication. This doesn't tell the customer anything
