[outages] Fiber cut in the UK? EasyNet Leased Line outage

I use EasyNet transit in the UK and they've had an outage ongoing for 8
hours 15 minutes due to low light.

EasyNet claims not to own the affected fiber and reports that many other
carriers are also affected.

on fibre customers who's circuit references begin with CAL

We are working with the relevant carrier in order to bring about a swift
resolution

My network out of AT&T's datacenter in Redditch is hard down.  Some
alternate paths to the UK seem to be down as well.

Does anyone have better information from a different carrier?
