I spotted this via a DNS issue as well. I got a nagios alert from a client (dual-homed to HE) that my home FiOS was down. A closer look showed my duckdns.org hostname was not able to be resolved. All three duckdns.org servers are hosted on AWS. Here’s a traceroute to ns1.duckdns.org:
