Updates provided from Level 3 Level 3 Communications This is to confirm
that an update has been recorded on Level 3 ticket 11330369. 08/19/2016
19:47:30 GMT - The local provider's splice team is engaged, but an
estimated time of arrival remains unavailable. 08/19/2016 19:19:40 GMT -
The local provider has isolated aerial fiber damage, which is suspected to
be caused by a vehicle without proper vertical clearance. The local
provider's splice team is engaged, but an estimated time of arrival to
start repairs is currently unavailable. 08/19/2016 19:03:35 GMT - The
local provider is continuing fiber testing to isolate the fault.
08/19/2016 18:02:56 GMT - The local provider is currently measuring the
light levels to isolate the fault. 08/19/2016 17:18:22 GMT - The local
provider advises that investigations to isolate the fault are ongoing.
08/19/2016 16:28:07 GMT - The local provider advises that investigation to
isolate the fault are ongoing. 08/19/2016 16:19:03 GMT - There is no new
information from the local provider at this time. Information will be
relayed as soon as it is received. 08/19/2016 15:16:33 GMT - Further
investigation indicates that there is an aerial fiber cut on the local
provider's network. The local provider is engaged for further
investigation. 08/19/2016 14:19:36 GMT - Fiber testing isolated a fault
approximately two miles from the testing site. Another field technician is
traversing the fiber route to visually locate the damage. 08/19/2016
14:11:06 GMT - Field Services is on site shooting the fibers to isolate the
fault. 08/19/2016 13:25:41 GMT - The Transport NOC detected a loss of
signal between Orlando, FL and Maitland, FL impacting unprotected services.
A fiber cut is suspected and Field Services have been engaged for onsite
investigation. Please be advised that updates for this event will be
relayed at a minimum of hourly unless otherwise noted. The information
conveyed hereafter is associated to live troubleshooting effort and as the
discovery process evolves through to service resolution, ticket closure, or
post incident review, details may evolve.

Subject: [outages] Level 3 PRI calling outage
Have a PRI from Level 3 (Was legacy TW Telecom) located in Melbourne
Florida, All outbound calls to Local ATT Landline numbers fail with "All
Circuits Are busy Now". Calls to other carriers appear to complete
normally.
Opened ticket with Level 3. They advised there was a "Fiber Cut" in the
area causing this outage.
Heads up for anyone down in this area!
