I just received an ETR of 11/15 from China Telecom Americas. Repair boat being delayed by unfavorable oceanic conditions.

Yeah latest I have from maybe 20 hours ago is that it has been docked in Sheng San (sp?) due to weather and the earliest it will start back to the site is the 10th (HK time).

Chris,
Any updates? Looks like the repair boat is docked in Shanghai, and not at the incident site. Either they are done or ran out of supplies...

What are the chances this was fixed yesterday late afternoon Eastern time? Anyone?

I have a P2P physical line between Shanghai and NYC via the Tran- Pacific Express submarine cable that is down due to a fiber cut caused by a marine vessel incident. China Telecom Americas gave me an ETR of Nov 8 due to storms in the area. So if anyone is having issues communicating with China, this may be a reason.
