Just FYI, this was not an actual Comcast outage, but a BGP path issue between one of our data centers and Comcast, which caused just our prefix to be advertised improperly.

Can you send me those with the destination addresses intact? These traces die at our core routers. I am hearing of two different transport issues in the Ashburn area. I suspect they're related, but I'm trying to determine if something is isolated or if we have routing issues, etc.
Thanks,
John

Can you send me some traceroutes? I'll check with our NOC to see if they've heard of anything.
Thanks,
John

Can you provide some more details? I'm not aware of any regional issues. I just checked our NOC email list and chat and nothing jumped out at me.
Thanks,
John

None in various FL markets (so far) for Comcast.
Your message references both Comcast and Charter though?

I’ve gotten reports from my monitoring system for offices in 3 states that are offline. Is anyone else seeing this happening with Charter in the southeastern region?
Thanks!
