Root Cause: A damaged fiber cable in New York City, NY was repaired during
an emergency repair event.
Fix action: The cable was repaired.
Summary: A damaged fiber cable in New York City, NY will be repaired during
an emergency repair event on June 29, 2018. The affected cable was damaged
by a fire inside a construction project and needs to be replaced to prevent
an unexpected service interruption. Field Operations installed the
replacement cable and spliced fibers to restore service.
