Outage Start: September 13, 2019 14:39 GMT OutageStop: September 13, 2019 18:14 GMT Root Cause: A loop issue in Baltimore, MD impacted IP services. Fix Action: Configuration adjustments were made, thus restoring impacted services. Reason for Outage (RFO) Summary: On September 13, 2019 at 14:39 GMT, CenturyLink identified a service impact in Baltimore, MD. The IP NOC was engaged, and initial investigation isolated the trouble to the metro network. As such, the Metro team was then engaged to investigate further. The Metro team identified a loop issue in the network that was causing the service interruption. Configuration adjustments were made to resolve the loop issue and restore services. The IP NOC will continue to monitor services to ensure that stability continues.
