I have received several emails like this.
We're investigating reports of an issue with Google Slides. We will provide more information shortly. The affected users are unable to access Google Slides.

Getting "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. Please try your request again later." trying to open docs/sheets. Not on Google's official status dashboard yet, but a couple reddit posts already confirming:
