[outages] Zoom Outage 4/16/25 15:30 EDT

I get “you have been blocked” from Zoom’s own server, for failing to pass some security check. This is from a Frontier California FIOS IP. If I switched to a cellular connection, then I get right in.

Possibly, they are dealing with a with a DDoS attack

The zoom.us<http://zoom.us> is on an ICANN "serverhold" in the US domain.  Other US
domains are working.  Not sure what's going on with that...

It appears to have been placed in this state at: Updated Date:
2025-04-16T18:25:44Z

Any reply I make from now on will go to -discussion; just wanted to get
this piece of status onto the main list.
