<p>We had an affected 10G Zayo wave which was originally down because of this cut in Colorado. Oddly enough, it’s still down now this morning due to a secondary fiber cut that occurred on a 144 count areal cable owned by a third party in the Cincinnati area
being damaged by a gun shot. 400ft of cable is being replaced. ETR is 3PM ET.<o:p></o:p></p>

Thanks. Someone else confirmed offlist seeing an IP services issue at 6:16 pm Central, but which recovered by minutes later.<br>

Since the voice traffic in question is TDM-based, it's not easily "routed"<br>
around like IP over Ethernet traffic is. And that TDM traffic is apparently not protected, at least not in the geographically diverse sense of the term.<br>
