Field Operations have confirmed a fiber cut near Lake Charles, LA caused by construction activities occurring in the area. Additional testing is taking place to further isolate the damaged fiber. A splicing repair team has been dispatched to the site and an
ETA of <span class="gmail-aqj">18:30 GMT</span> has been provided.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Current status: </b><br>

Field Operations continue efforts to expose the damaged buried fiber span so that a restoration plan can be implemented. In addition, Field Operations continue to investigate if spare fiber is available in the area to migrate impacted services and expedite
service restoral.<br>
The Transport NOC is confirming with Field Operations that the ETA for the fiber splicing repair team remains as
