User Impact: Users may experience 500 errors when attempting to access their mailbox via Outlook on the web.

Current status: Our monitoring has confirmed that there is some residual impact to a subset of affected users. We're working with some of the affected users to collect information to determine our best method to mitigate impact for the remaining users. We expect this process to take an extended period of time to complete.

Scope of impact: This issue may affect any of your users attempting to access their mailbox via Outlook on the web.

Start time: Monday, April 20, 2020, 5:30 PM (9:30 PM UTC)

Root cause: A routine service update inadvertently contained a code issue that prevented some users from accessing their mailbox via Outlook on the web.
