As recent (within the last hour) news reports have indicated, the Southwest Power Pool, which manages electricity supply for more than 14 states, is experiencing insane demand due to the equally insane cold temperatures across the United States. They are working with their member organizations/power companies to implement rolling blackouts in an effort to preserve the entire electricity grid.<br>

Wouldn’t surprise me if their site was down simply because millions of people in affected areas tried to look them up. Just a hunch though.<br>
