Subject: [outages] Comcast IP routing issues, Western Chicago Suburbs (fed from West Chicago)

Has anyone seen issues in the western Chicago suburbs on Comcast today?
At ~1:50am it looks like there was a brief outage, then a route change
within the comcast network between 350 cermak and West Chicago
(according to PTR data), and all day I've been fielding calls from our
VoIP Customers who have comcast business/Home circuits that all seem to
go through West Chicago. Some Comcast IP's I can ping from my HE/Zayo
circuits, others I cannot, yet some TCP Applications appear to still
work to those IP's. Since the route change this morning, UDP Traffic
has been randomly getting through. ICMP Between Comcast IP's within
west Chicago appears normal. The Customers I've talked to also report
sporadic outages/slowness to cloud services. Attempted to contact
Cocmast through the normal support channels, but since things are
'mostly' working, haven't gotten anywhere with Tier1 support yet.

Happy to provide trace routes as needed, but since it's happening across
multiple circuits/IP Blocks didn't want to include random data if it's a
known larger issue. We did have High winds last night, so it feels like
a fiber is down somewhere, and routing is wonky now.
