Hi Marcin,
Just want to fix my mistake in the previous email to you. My colleague Stefano just notified me that the boot sequence actually start with redback.cfg. redback.bin is used to speed up the boot time. So you can basically skip step 1.
Also, thanks again to Stefano, he pointed out that the error message is due to either
1. corrupted file system
2. broken internal flash

You can try format internal flash by 'installsys'. Check with basic system operation guide appendix A under "Format Internal Devices, Install a New System Image, or Both". If that doesn't help, likely it is because of 2.

Cheers!

Tanan

Hello Marcin,
I think the easiest way is to
1. set the boot sequence by "boot configuration /flash/redback.cfg" (by default, the boot sequence starts with redback.bin)
2. copy your backup redback.cfg file into /flash directory "copy ftp://username:password@ip/backup_redback.cfg /md /redback.cfg"
3. reload
SE then should comes back up with the configuration in redback.cfg

Subject: [rbak-nsp] configuration replacement

hello,

today I had a situation that my SE100 didn't come up after reload (some
log below).

I have some other SE100 working as LAB/Backup, so - no problem.
However, executing command:
config tftp://ip/redback.cfg

said - sorry, some values are conflicting etc...
It seems that the system instead of replace, was trying do to merge.

Is there any smooth way to do config replace ??

Regards,
Marcin
