My guess is that with IPv6 deployment the XCRP3 will disappear.

All the more "advanced" features like local ipv6 pools are 6.5 material
so no XCRP3 ...

Concerning stability - I have no clue - we had no 6.4/6.5 in production
but i guess 6.5 will gain stability very fast this year :)
