My guess is that with IPv6 deployment the XCRP3 will disappear.
All the more "advanced" features like local ipv6 pools are 6.5 material so
no XCRP3 ...
Concerning stability - I have no clue - we had no 6.4/6.5 in production but
i guess 6.5 will gain stability very fast this year :)

SEOS 6.4 is the last release, that support PPA1-based line cards.
XCRP3 is not supported by 6.4.

Except SE100 that in fact has XCRP3 on board.
However, SE100 is PPA2 based as far as I know, and there is 6.4 line for
SE100 (nasty one).
