That does not seem as a valid command. I enabled proxy-arp and got the solution i expexted, hope without unwanted effects.

You need aplly the command " ip hosts <X.X.X.X> on the interface.

Hello all,

I have a setup where several vlan’s are connected to the same multibind interface and are assigned ip addresses from the same subnet. The problem I face is that communication btw customers from different vlan’s is impossible(they think they are on a L2 domain and ARP will do the trick but ofc that does not happen) . I think enabling proxy-arp would help me in this case but I am just wondering if there is something I should be careful regarding enabling that – being a live setup interruptions are not welcome..

Current config and #what I think I should add

!
context dhcp
!
interface dhcp multibind
  ip address A.B.C.1/24
#to add ip arp proxy-arp always
  dhcp relay 10
!
subscriber default
   ip source-validation
   dhcp max-addrs 2
   ip interface name dhcp
!
dhcp relay server Q.W.E.R
!
!
!
end

Thanks in advance,

Tudor Capatina
