We use static CLISP for subscribers, who for some reasons cannot use DHCP.
Subscriber binding configured on ethernet port (or dot1q pvc), for example:

port ethernet 1/1
 dot1q pvc 81
  service clips
  clips pvc 8102
   bind subscriber dormash at static
  clips pvc 8104
   bind subscriber nsg-himmash at static
  clips pvc 8111
   bind subscriber samson at static

IP address and qos policy taken from radius. In this case username is not
MAC address but "some_user_name at context_name".

Compared with dynamic CLIPS it a bit uncomfortable. For our own servers and
some exclusive customers we using context with directly connected
interfaces. Without sessions, authentication and accounting.
