Hi,
i am terminating PPPoE Subscribers on a Bunch of SE600 which simply
works. Subscriber default contains a ppp mtu 1492.

Now i have a link to the lab with a reduced MTU which i cant fix
easily so i'd need to reduce the MTU to be able to reach tr069 etc.

I tried with a dot1q profile with ppp mru 1400 (and removing the ppp mtu
1492 from subscriber default) which does not work.

The simple RADIUS way by using a Framed-MTU does not work either which
is obvious as the RADIUS Auth Req is sent in Auth Phase when the MTU
has already been negotiated. The only way would be to fall back to
Configure Phase with a ConfReq in Auth Phase. Is there a RADIUS Packet
to trigger this?

Otherwise the only solution would be a another context or does anyone
have another idea?

Flo
PS: Why on earth does the SE not support multiple subscriber "defaults"
which can be addressed from the dot1q config.
