[scg-sec] Worth our time? FW: Invitation: Workshop on Datasets for Network Security

	I'm considering attending just to see what they have to say on
these topics.

	Barry, (i was thinking about calling you about this anyways ..)
I'm a bit concerned that the desire by DHS to create as is called
"national-level" testbeds will exclude those providers that have
built a network with the global perspective in mind as opposed to those
that are only concerned with "protecting our national interests".

	The US is still the primary hub of the internet that connects
the "Far East" with Europe, Africa, and the remainder of the
Americas.

	I think this raises some issues worth consideration and
this is one of the reasons i'm interested in attending to insure that
they actually have this truly in mind and are not just providing
lip-service.

	I can arrive earlier in the day on sunday or we could perchance
get together as well on the tuesday afternoon/night after nanog.
