[VoiceOps] Carriers that allow CNAM dips via SIP Subscribe?

Hi Victor,

Some folks are using ENUM on their SBCs to dip to CNAM providers. ENUM is a little more light-weight than a SIP request, and, when done at the edge, touches fewer nodes. I believe Targusinfo is one CNAM provider that supports ENUM.

That's great to know about BW, actually. I think might be ok in that respect since I want to implement this on my SBCs in front which (I hope) will not present any other ballooning call leg scenarios.

Thanks to all of you for the suggestions!

TNS works great with BW.

One scratchy point... BW runs their SUBSCRIBEs on the access side, so a single call that hits a 10 user hunt group will generate 10 dips.

We've centralized our dips via sip to TNS over the last year with our Broadsoft platform. It has worked quite well and simplified things in operations.

Hello VoIP Gurus!

I'm hoping one of you might be able to help narrow my search. Has anyone had any experience, either good or bad, with any particular carriers in getting CNAM queries working using SIP Subscribes? I have seen a few offer it via HTTP, but that won't work for my platform without developing a custom proxy to translate the SIP to HTTP and back again.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated, either on or off list.

Thanks!
