I have seen this also. Interestingly, I can use vi command line editing when this happens. Running Mac OS X with Terminal.

Hi,
Do you ever lose the ability to up-arrow to a previous command when telnetted into an acme sbc? I don't know if it's my telnet client (SecureCRT) or not. Darndest thing... I accidently found that if I precede the up-arrow with a down-arrow I can access previous commands.
Seems to come and go, happened before the transit of venus, etc...
