The hearsay about https://www.freecallerregistry.com/ is that it only
exists to refer people to the Hiya/TNS/First Orion paid services, and that
will only help you with calls that transit those three filtering services.
This may help with some major carriers, for a price, but is hardly a
cure-all. There are a dozen other apps and services that can still
mis-label your legitimate calls, and seeking redress from all of them will
become a burden.
If you want to avoid the "pay to play" model that created The
Campaign Regi$try for SMS/MMS please file comments in the FCC Robocall
docket in support of preserving Caller Name for A-Attested calls. Read more
about that here: https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DOC-392975A1.pdf
