How much of the data are you entering? It seems like the minimum you'd need to enter would be phone number, OCN, and Caller Name. It seems like if you wanted to block the caller name display, you'd not create the record in the first place. Does anybody do collect calls or 3rd party billing anymore? Does any of the rest of the stuff matter or is used by anything? ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions Midwest Internet Exchange DNA Communications -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I purchased some property in South Carolina which has an old Sprint 25 pair copper pedestal where the driveway needs to be. I believe the copper has been abandoned by Sprint. Dig Safe has no knowledge of it and no contact information. I?ve called the SC regulatory staff to see if they have any info. Nobody seems to know what you can/cannot do with abandoned copper or how to confirm if it is actually abandoned. Anyone have any ancient contact info for Sprint/AT&T/T-Mobile in the SC region (Beaufort County)? Regardless of the state of the copper, there will be a utility easement for the underground cable and pedestal. If there are ducts going in multiple directions you may get push-back regarding removing it in case the utility wants to repurpose it for fiber. If it's all direct bury copper they probably aren't going to care. -- Jay Hennigan - jay at west.net Network Engineering - CCIE #7880 503 897-8550 - WB6RDV
