We get this all the time where for a few hours, we'll get 10-15
calls for people asking for our customers. Since we can't
acknowledge someone is our customer or not, we just let them know
where they reached, and advise them that their long distance carrier
is making a mistake routing the calls.
(We route our LRNs as RCFs to our NOC on purpose to catch these
issues)
We're considering setting up an intercept that basically eviscerates
the caller's long distance carrier and lets them know what the issue
is, much like beehive did with Sprint, but ... less angry.
