to softswitch), nat traversal/media proxy, basic topology hiding,
blacklisting, some kind of dynamic routing (ENUM is preferred). No
need for fancy multi realm setup, simple inside/outside is fine. <br>

I am presently looking at: <br>
<ul>
<li>Kamailio + some kind of media proxy (does much of the
signaling but is not a B2BUA)</li>
<li>Freeswitch (doesnt seem to do the reg cache / pass back)<br>

<li>SEMS (reg caching only introduced last month.</li>
<li>Various combinations of the above (though most of these feel
kludgy)<br>
</li>

<p>Im not precluding commercial solutions or hybrid solutions but
the usual suspects (Acme, Meta, Sonus, etc) are off the table here
due to either the cost or the software/virtualization
requirements.<br></p></div></blockquote><div>Sangoma SBC is based on FreeSWITCH, but we've built a variety of enhancements to the platform such as registration caching/pass back and optional integration with our transcoding cards (you can run RTP/transcoding on software or add our card for full RTP/transcoding offloading). You can run the SBC on VMWare, Amazon, KVM or Hyper-V. Other virtualizations technologies should work, but those are the ones we've tried and are known to work.</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.sangoma.com/session-border-controllers/">http://www.sangoma.com/session-border-controllers/</a><br></div><div><br></div><div>It also covers the rest of your requirements (ENUM and other dynamic routing options, topology hiding, blacklisting, nat-traversal/media proxy, etc).</div><div><br></div><div>Feel free to contact me if you'd like more info.</div><div class="gmail_quote"><br></div><div class="gmail_quote">Cheers,</div><div class="gmail_quote"><br></div><div class="gmail_quote">-</div><div class="gmail_quote">Moy</div><div class="gmail_quote"><br></div><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';color:rgb(31,73,125)">Moises Silva<u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';color:rgb(31,73,125)">Manager, Software Engineering<u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';color:rgb(31,73,125)"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';color:rgb(31,73,125)">Sangoma Technologies<u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';color:rgb(31,73,125)">100 Renfrew Drive, Suite 100, Markham, Ontario, Canada L3R 9R6<u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';color:rgb(31,73,125)">T <a value="+19054741990">+1 905 474 1990</a> x128 | toll-free in North America <a value="+18003882475">+1 800 388-2475</a> | F <a value="+19054749223">+1 905 474 9223</a><u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';color:rgb(31,73,125)"><a href="http://www.sangoma.com/" target="_blank">www.sangoma.com</a></span></p></div><div class="gmail_quote"><br></div></div></div>
