<div dir="ltr">It's never fun when your switch is isolated. We were down for 12 hours one time, both links were carried by AT&T. Their SS7 folks got ahold of one of our CO guys on his cell phone and asked "do you know both your SS7 links are down?" We responded with the AT&T ticket numbers for the circuits. The VPN tunnels were up, but it seems the STPs weren't responding to our requests, or our packets weren't making it to them, or maybe the return packets weren't making it back to their VPN gateways.<span style="font-size:12pt"><u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p>A traceroute shows that we send our traffic to Inteliquent/Sinch (these VPN gateways included) via our peering connection at

<p>Meanwhile, calls over our SIP connections with Inteliquent/Sinch were working fine.<u></u><u></u></p>
