<p class="MsoNormal">I apologize. I was mis-remembering this project. I am confusing it with some SIP trunks we turned up over a direct path to IQNT.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Our SIGTRAN using the public internet over VPN to IQNT did NOT have an outage during the time period discussed here.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">So it was not a full outage for IQNT and I am unclear of the rhyme or reason why it happened to some and not others.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Any updates are appreciated. Concerning a CLEC can have 2-4 links all go down at the same time.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p>SIGTRAN. Over the Internet. Through VPN tunnels. The VPN tunnels were up, but it seems the STPs weren't responding to our requests, or our packets weren't making it to them, or maybe the return packets weren't making it back to their VPN gateways.<span style="font-size:12.0pt;mso-ligatures:none"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p>A traceroute shows that we send our traffic to Inteliquent/Sinch (these VPN gateways included) via our peering connection at
<a href="https://micemn.net/participants.html">MICE</a>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Meanwhile, calls over our SIP connections with Inteliquent/Sinch were working fine.<o:p></o:p></p>
