lokiden: the nexus

Welcome to lokiden, now in its second incarnation on the Web with revamped text, graphics and layout. The most drastic change has been to add a client-side image map navigation bar at the top for ease of traversal by those hapless people who have (whether by poor planning or sheer bad luck) ended up here. The graphics and logos for the pages have been completely redone, and the text has been changed, added to and spruced up. Whole pages have appeared in the new lokiden and disappeared from the old one. The new lokiden is much cooler and ultra-nifty, even if I do say so myself ;)

Anyway, you must be wondering what those pages on the navigation bar actually are! Let's proceed along the bar from left to right (left is the side where your left hand is; similarly, right is the side where your right hand is). First stop on our route is lokiden...and that (duh), is where you are right now.

Next is the Redirectory, my repository of links to all sorts of computer and gaming related websites. I find it quite useful as a virtual bookmark page, handy when I can't be bothered looking something up in one of the search engines. Just further to that is the macabre yet humorous Ways to Die page, the ever popular and much lauded page listing embarassing and unusual ways to die.

Then comes the insight and wit (or lack of it) of lrant, my page to rant about the things I think are stupid, and rave about the things I think are cool. Past the halfway mark now, we reach the absolutely divine femme is fatale, a visual feast and gallery of some of the sexier women on this planet.

We're coming up to the final bend now, and if you look around you'll see the unobtrusive fishcam, a page devoted to one of the pioneering live webcams which is to this day focused on (as you have probably guessed) a tank of cute little fishies. And now at last we're on the home stretch, where you can find the mystical and otherwordly (yet utterly useless) about lokiden, which tells you all those things about this site and its pages that you never wanted to know but found out anyway through sheer stupid perseverance and deathwish curiosity.

Like many other people who frequent IRC, I have a page about it, which is titled IRCdom. It's only a small little page, so cut it some slack, it might grow and mature sometime in the future. There's also a page about MEMEME, for those of you who want to know a bit more about that weird guy who calls himself loki.

and here is the eternal pesterer Four-1-1 with her page Tara's Space. Luckily for her it's better than the average homepage, sporting some astutely chosen pics that complement each other nicely.
and now to Jester's homepage, quite stylish and one of the few webpages to have lots of features without overdoing it gratuitously, and with some thought to placement and the look of the overall page.
...and that's all at the moment, most pages I've seen are pretty commonplace. Hopefully more soon.
