The FIB table is not the routing table; only best routes for each prefix
goes to the FIB.

| We're at 111k routes.

Received routes, accepted routes or best routes ? You could trying filtering
some garbage from external route sources (like /25 or longer prefixes), and
aggregating some internal routes.
Also, if you have turned on RPF, it doubles the FIB usage on the Sup. On
Cat6K is usually better to do ACLs than turning on strict-RPF.

| | Is there a plan for the S2/MSFCx?

MSFC2 can receive generous amount of RAM in order to handle a few
full-routing feeds; if the FIB is limiting your network, a newer MSFC
wouldn't save you, and you will probably want to go thru your AM to know how
many routes will Sup3 handle and when it will be available.
