The weights given have to do with the CPU and memory load on a call
manager by those devices. So your ideas of multiple locations will only
take effect depending on whether you are running a single CM or
distributed CMs.

Subject: [nsp] Cisco Call Manager Scalability Querry

Hello,
Cisco documentation says that a single call manager
supports about 2500 registrations ( assuming all IP
phones , sofphones and gateways are given different
weights )
My questions are as follows :

1. Do the above figures vary with the definition of
multiple locations with bandwidth set on a per
location basis ?

2. in actual practise, what is a realistic figure for
only iP phones for a single call manager ?

Rgds,
Edward
