I didn't try 12.1(x) on a 2FE/E board yet. We use 12.0(x)S images, and
they properly recognize this board, and are much nicer overall anyway.

www.cisco.com should tell you something if you search for
"C7200-I/O-2FE/E minimum release" or so. Most likely it needs 12.1(x)T,
12.2(x) or 12.0(x)S.
