Hi!

I have a similar problem on an 7206VXR NPE300 on a PA-GE interface. My
fastethernets still work fine when this happens.

I have tried a zillion different IOSs and are currently running 12.1(9).

It occurs now and then, sometimes once in three months and somtimes thre
times per week. It is not related to the amount of total traffic or
current traffic as I can see.

/MH

I've had a recent problem with a 7206VXR with NPE-300 where the FastE
ports stop transmitting. It seems to happen after a spurious memory
access. A shut/no shut will occasionally get the FastE to startt
transmitting again if the interface is kept down for two minutes or
more. Reloading the router is unfortunately the only sure solution. I am
running 12.1(7).
