The only negative thing I can say about the original message (which IOS to
use to do PPPoE on ATM on a 2600?) is that a quick visit to go/fn would
have shown there aren't any versions to choose from[1]. I wouldn't have
known this if I hadn't just looked into the very same question a few weeks
ago.

[1] AFAIK, fn does not cover all IOS versions, so for all I know there is
a secret "unsupported" version of IOS that does have things like PPPoE and
MPLS VPN for the 2600 series. If there is, I'd sure like to have it. It
seems as if the only reason these features are not available is to force
hardware upgrades.
