Hello,

One of my customer's 1720 routers running 12.0.7T had the same problem.
After I reported the problem to Cisco TAC, they told me to upgrade the
IOS to 12.1.9 but it didn't help. It turned out that the Fast Ethernet
module was flaky and the router had to be replaced. Please find below
the error message:

Subject: [nsp] Router problem

Hello,

We have a 2620 router and it rebooted 2 time with 2 weeks interval.
The
error was :

router1 uptime is 4 hours, 20 minutes
System returned to ROM by error - a SegV exception, PC 0x8021C9E8

This is an interim router inserted in between another router to connect
to a
frame relay with multiple PVC's. Can anyone tell me the problem with
this
kind of error?

  Thanks..
