Support for this was added in 12.0(21)S so you night want to wait for
the equivalent ST train release.

The suggestion I remember was using CAR on a subinterface and then
monitoring using CISCO-CAR-MIB.

The other workaround suggested was to use the output of sh vlan.from
the CLI....
