from sean@pch's route-views archive.
someone typo'ed '11301' for '11303', and s/15251/15254/
in their pre-pending frenzy and caused
the below loop in route-views table

BGP4+keyboard. whee.

Subject: Loops in April 16 table

These loops were observed in Oregon BGP table of April 02, 12 and 16:

  line 167872) 1. Prefix 63.251.40.0/23. Repeated AS 11303: * 216.140.2.63 2445 0 6395 3356 11303 11303 11303 11303 11301 11303 11303 11303 11303 i

  line 250277) 11. Prefix 64.216.158.0/23. Repeated AS 15254: * 213.200.87.254 920 0 3257 209 15254 15251 15254 15254 15254 15254 i

Both appear to be a result of config misprint (11301 instead of
11303 and 15251 instead of 15254) We have also seen AS loops which
were really broken (like advertizing their own prefix after getting
it back from a regional Internet exchange) but that was a month and a
half ago, and since then has disappeared from Oregon table.
