Status of adopting intradomain multipath routing ?

Hi,

I'm very interested in routing technology in the internet. I think , no matter how people do with
per-site resource scheduling, routing is the basic method delivering packeet over network.
current intradomain routing technology is based on shortest path first method, although there have
been a lot of work done on TE method based on it, I want to know how much of such method have
been adopted ?
