[c-nsp] OSPF point-to-point vs dr/bdr

Hi all,

we have campus network with 4 core routers and 8 zones (distribution layer) connected to the core altogether. Each zone have 2 routers for redundancy. For intranet we are running OSPF as the routing protocol. 

Want to ask, what is the benefit if we are using point-to-point for connection between each zones router to the core instead of using dr/bdr connection?
