I have a few 7206 VXR NPE-G1 running IS-MZ 12.4(13b) for a few months now and so far (touch wood) no problems...
They mostly hold an STM and another GE Link circuits and two main uplink peers and a dozen of customers peers.
Throughput of each is around 150-200Mb on and off.

for the 7200 with just bgp why not use 12.0S?
