I have several ATA-186's working with Fax machines. We run them off port
2 of the ATA, as port 1 does not support Fax or modem - only voice.

I'm attaching to Vocal Data switch's instead of a switch running Call
Manager. The faxing works fine as long as we don't try to attach to a
remote Super G3 fax machine. The "Super G3" doesn't seem to tolerate
dropping down to 9600 baud (which is the fastest rate that an ATA-186
can handle).
