According to their docs, they can support fax on both ports, but our
experience in the field is that Port 2 works best for Fax/Modems.

Additionally, the ATA-186 does not support using G.729 on port 2 if Port
1 is in use. The design of the box was for Voice to be used on port 1
and for Fax to be used on port 2.
