[cisco-voip] 7971 Gigabit Color Phones - Anyone Using Them?

Hi Oliver,

4.02a also has built in 7971 support but we found that the 7970/7971 work
best under ES24 if you can get that from the TAC as it fixes some touch
screen and digit recognition/delay problems we noticed with SR1 and SR2.

Not sure when ES24 will be rolled into a maintenance general release though.

Darren

Subject: [cisco-voip] 7971 Gigabit Color Phones - Anyone Using Them?

We just got our 7971 gigabit color phones, but I only installed them on my
lab. The installation required installing a 'device package' and the
firmware. Is anyone else using them in production or lab?
