We've just put a 7912 in the mailroom itself which is just through a 
doorway about 5 feet away from the console with all the lines in the 
same pick-up group. The only problem with it is that you can't use 
the attendant console itself without walking back and forth or 
transferring it back but this may or may not be an issue depending on 
how many calls you receive that require a look-up in the directory.
