[cisco-voip] Internal/External Caller Number Mask

We've deployed our VoIP network to several remote locations now using a
2821 Gateway and a ICS7700 with CCM 4.0(1)sr2a as the home location.
Things are running great, but I've noticed something cropping up with
some of the remote sites.

For our central location phones, we have the External Number Mask as:
630909XXXX which is our Area Code and Exchange. When they call people
internally, it shows up as their extension. That's the way we want it.
When they call externally, it shows up as their entire number. Also the
way we want it.

However, at the remote sites, things are a little different. At the
remote sites, we do not have the need for PRIs, so we are just using
several POTS lines into FXO ports. This also means that we do not have
DID at the sites. When a user calls in, they are directed to an Auto
Attendant that routes the call based on selection. The External Number
Mask on their phones is configured with the main line for the site. The
problem is that when these people call an internal user, that number
shows up in the caller-id.

Is there a way around this? The other problem is that only local calls
will go out the 2821 gateway. Everything else will go out our main PRI.

The gateways are set up as H323.
Central Extensions are 4 digits.
Remote Extensions are 7 digits.

Thanks for your help.
