[cisco-voip] Is anyone using AAR

That is a pretty cool way of doing it. I had not thought of that.

Do you have to use the right DN to call in the area you want to call?
IE. use the 832 line to call south and the 563 to call the north? Or do
you have your CSS setup that either DN can call either North or South
via the right VGW? In which case you would use AAR to dial out locally
if your link between your two sites went down. What kind of a
connection are you running between your two sites?

I think that we are using toll bypass. The LATA splits the county in
half, so even to call an office in the lower part of the county would be
a long distance call. I am still learning telephones, so I don't know
if what we do is toll bypass or not, but I can call anyplace in this
county and the next without incurring long distance charges. We also
have it set up where every phone has 2 numbers. For example my number
is 563-0283, but if a citizen in the lower part of the county dials that
number it is long distance, so they can dial 832-0283 and get me.

Is anyone using AAR? What are you using it for? Is anyone actually
using toll Bypass? Ie.all locations use the gateway that is in that
area code to dial from.
